We splurged tonight and bought new dining room furniture...it is being made in North Carolina and shipped in about 4 weeks.
The table opens to seat 12 and be got the bench - but will wait on the chairs until we see what we want.

Yes - 2 insets for the table - one at each end The insets are in in this catelog photo,
The table is beautiful! I hope to spend many happy moments sitting there......hint, hint.
