Joel had his top braces applied today. While his teeth are fairly straight, he had 2 baby teeth that never fell out and he did not have adult teeth behind them. Those baby teeth were extracted and now he has holes in his gums - so the braces get his teeth lined up correctly so he can have implants put in there in a few years.Kids are expensive!

I am pleased to see that you are man enough to realise that the end result of the the present
discomfort and perhaps an occasional feeling of embarrassment will, in the end, be of great benefit to you.

reminds me of my 'braced' years - have never regretted them.
